For the schedule, I printed two and laminated them, only cutting slits on the checkmark half. Then I laminated a blank sheet of paper to hold the two schedules (AM/PM, PM/Evening etc.) This is just easy for storage and planning the whole day, then you can remove the AM schedule and take it with you.
You can use the symbols I've included below, your own symbols, or a dry erase marker. I like to velcro any extra symbols to the back. If you want to make your own, you can download the free version of Snap Core First on an iPad and print the page or use Coughdrop.com on a computer to make a page of symbols and print it.
